Kylie Minogue will finally be putting her many years of experience to use to help aspiring singers get their shot at superstardom. The Australian singer has confirmed she’s one of the judges on BBC’s The Voice.

“#LOVERS I'm excited to announce that I'll be coaching on @BBCTheVoiceUK next season!” reads a post on Kylie's Twitter, breaking the happy news to her fans.

She will be joining on the panel Sir Tom Jones and Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am. A fourth judge and mentor is yet to be announced, but Jones was quick to rush to tweet that “this will be a season to remember!”

The Voice, which also has a US correspondent, is different from other singing televised competitions (such as X Factor, American Idol or Britain / America’s Got Talent) in that the initial selection is done with the judges facing away from the competitors.

The idea is to find the perfect voice without taking into consideration “the packaging.”
