Australian singer Kylie Minogue and Spanish model Andres Velencoso have been dating for approximately seven months, and the usually tight-lipped petite star is now breaking the silence to reveal just how positively happy she is with how things are going between the two. Her latest interview with Hello! Magazine has Kylie gushing about her perfect life and her perfect relationship with the handsome model, which has prompted many to speculate the two might be considering taking the next step.

Kylie is, as fans must know, extremely private when it comes to her relationships, rarely agreeing to discuss them with media representatives. The romance with Andres seems to have changed that about her, as the latest interview sees the star raving the pleasures of life she has never known before, like being in a fulfilling relationship, traveling, and learning to love herself and her life. It is precisely this drastic change that has led to speculation that Minogue might be paving the way for an imminent marriage announcement.

“It’s definitely true that I’m happier than ever before. I feel relaxed, happy, excited and just totally content with my life. I’m having a good time. I really am. All my life I’ve worked very hard and I’ve always talked about trying to find a balance. Last year was very tough, with my tour and so many work commitments, but this year I made a commitment to take time out. I’ve been travelling, playing golf, seeing friends and family. It has been great. I have to work at relaxing but I’m enjoying myself. I’m doing the things I want to do work-wise and for the rest of the time, well, I’m just chilling out, being me, having a personal life.” Kylie tells the mag.

Until now, the singer has kept the affair with Andres away from the prying eyes of the media, especially since she started it right after the collapse of her four-year relationship with actor Olivier Martinez, who helped her cope with cancer and the aftermath of such a diagnosis. Amidst speculation that she and Andres have been looking at houses in the Barcelona area, while also keeping busy meeting each other’s relatives and friends, the most recent interview could be seen as an indication that they’re actually planning to marry soon, several celebrity-oriented publications state.

Whichever that may be the case, fans are happy as long as their idol is too. And Kylie is certainly happy, from what she tells the mag. “I’m just doing things I never would give myself time to do.
