Becoming an Angel for Victoria's Secret might be every model's dream but Kylie Bisutti has lived been living it for 2 years and decided it wasn't what she wanted. As she puts it, being a lingerie model clashed with her religious beliefs.

Consequently, she's retiring, opting to offer all the girls who look up to her something else to admire and wish to emulate.

Kylie became an Angel in 2009 after winning a contest and beating thousands of other girls. Now, she knows she wasn't made to strut her stuff on the catwalk in lingerie.

“Victoria's Secret was my absolutely biggest goal in life, and it was all I ever wanted career-wise. I actually loved it while I was there, it was so much fun and I had a blast,” she says in an interview cited by ABC News, of the past 2 years of her life.

“But the more I was modeling lingerie, and lingerie isn't clothing, I just started becoming more uncomfortable with it because of my faith. My body should only be for my husband and it's just a sacred thing,” she explains.

Because she had many girls and women looking up to her, she felt she wasn't being a good role model by getting up on the catwalk in nothing but the flimsiest items.

There was no other option for her but to quit the job millions of women would probably die to have.

“I didn't really want to be that kind of role model for younger girls because I had a lot of younger Christian girls that were looking up to me and then thinking that it was okay for them to walk around and show their bodies in lingerie to guys,” Kylie explains.

“My goal is just to be a better role model for the youth, I just want them to see me as somebody that they can look up to and somebody that's going to be dressing appropriately and I'm not going to get into things that I wouldn't want them to be getting into,” she adds.

Kylie knows that her decision will get people talking and that some will probably even say she's out of her mind for throwing away such an amazing career opportunity.

However, she feels that, if she doesn't quit now, her marriage would also be under a lot of strain and she isn't even considering divorce as a viable option.

“It was pretty crazy because I finally achieved my biggest dream, the dream that I always wanted, but when I finally got it, it wasn't all that I thought it would be,” she further says in the same interview.
