Tickets for the last two shows from Kylie's 'Showgirl Homecoming' tour became available on Friday and the demand from the fans was so big that they completely sold-out in no more than six minutes! The 38-year-old singer announced that she will be playing in London earlier this week.
On Friday, at exactly 9 A.M, British fans jammed the phone lines and all the tickets were sold in a blink of an eye, the Associated Press informs.
As a consequence of the public's high demand, the organizers added two more gigs, besides those originally scheduled to take place on January 2nd and 3rd.
Tickets for the performances set on January 5th and 6th also sold out in as many minutes as the first ones did and the line was so solicited that the entire computer system crashed down. In a very generous gesture, the organizers spoke to Kylie's manager and got another two dates.
The final shows are to happen on January 8 and 9. Unfortunately for some fans, these are also sold out. Minogue's agent, Dave Chumbley had this to say about the unexpected reaction got from the fans:
'The demand for Kylie is absolutely phenomenal and these are the fastest selling shows I have ever experienced. It will be fantastic to see Kylie back on stage again'. And he sure isn't the only one to think so...
