Kylie's Planning Huge World Tour - Doctors Are Very Concerned

- The Australian singer seems to be pushing her luck

By: Monica Gaza, Entertainment News Editor

Kylie Minogue is at war with doctors over plans for a mammoth world tour to celebrate her 40th birthday next year. The '2 Hearts' singer reportedly wants to make up for the 'Showgirl' tour she had to postpone in May 2005, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. But the specialists have warned Kylie that going on such a tough schedule could have very bad effects on her health.

"Kylie is
determined to do this tour" says a source. "She was upset that she had to pull out of the last one - the 'Showgirl' tour - when she received her cancer diagnosis. If it was up to her, she'd do an endless string of dates but doctors say she needs to make herself priority and takes more time to relax". Well, up to one point it's understandable, especially since Kylie's comeback has gone very well so far. The petite diva is once again the center of attention, and her dress and hair style are once again the talk of the day.

But there are limits to a lady's power, especially since Kylie – who was given the all-clear from breast cancer in early 2006 after undergoing a partial mastectomy and a course of chemotherapy – seems to forget that it is no longer that simple to put her body under that much stress. "The doctors don't think traveling so much to perform each night is a good idea. Knowing Kylie, she will want to push herself. But she just can't as much as she used to", the same source added.

William Baker, Kylie's good friend and designer, had been enrolled to make sure that the singer's concerts (which are scheduled to kick off just days after the Australian diva's 40th birthday on May 28th) are as spectacular as possible. Baker is quoted as saying: "I am so busy. I'm heading back into the studio with Kylie in February to start training for the tour we want to do in June. It's going to be fabulous. I have a couple of ideas but they need a bit of work. It takes ages to pull it all together so we want to take out time on it".

Well, all that sounds great, but Kylie should watch out – her fans want her around for a long, long time from now on, so I'm sure it would be wise if she paid a little more attention to her own health.
