Kylie's New Single "2 Hearts" to be Launched in November

Kylie Minogue is back with a vengeance! The glamorous Australian singer will be taking yet another decisive step in her triumphant return on the world stage by releasing her new single "2 Hearts" first digitally on November 5th and in stores a week later, on November 12th. This is the first commercial single released from Kylie's new album tentatively called "X" which will hit the market at the end of November.

"2 Hearts" was composed and produced by London electro pop band Kish Mauve and Victoria Newton of The Sun recently described this single as "a sure-fire number one, a classic Kylie song you won't stop humming. Expect her to hit number one in both charts when the single and album are released in November". The video for this single is also extremely attractive and it pictures Kylie performing the new single on top of a piano. It's filled with glamor and a Marylin Monroe-like atmosphere and the audience gets the chance to see a Kylie with daring moves, who radiates a sense of confidence and a sweetness mixed with an air of independence and sexiness.

Australian fans also had the chance to watch an exclusive screening of the new film, White Diamond, which is basically a diary of Kylie's recovery, telling her story from the cancellation of the Showgirl Tour, through her struggle and treatment of breast cancer and finally to her triumphant return to the world stage on the 2006 Showgirl Homecoming Tour.

Kylie commented on the film and said that "When William Baker [Kylie's best friend, stylist and "gay husband"] and I started working on White Diamond more than a year ago we had little idea that it would develop into such an epic project; one that would cover the entire period leading up to and continuing throughout the Showgirl Homecoming tour. It was a very personal journey preparing for this tour and only someone as close to me as William could have captured it in such a unique and enjoyable way".

If we were to use just one word to describe Kylie, that would be "fighter", a woman who had the power and will to transform from a frail, newly-recovered singer, back into the multifaceted star the world has grown to know and love - and that is definitely no mean feat.
