The 'Sydney Confidential' reports that, after a year in which public appearances have been a few extremely short ones, the petite Kylie put on a pair of stiletto-heeled shoes, a white summer dress and stepped out for a quick shopping-spree in London.

The singer has been suffering, ever since May 2005, from breast cancer, a disease that lessened considerably her chances of keeping in touch with the fans.

Kylie endured terrifying sessions of chemotherapy that left her skinny and made her hair fall off. Fortunately, on Wednesday, she was looking just like her old self, all glamour and style, also wearing a new curly hairdo, which means only one thing: she can finally cast off the headscarves she was forced to put on this past year.

Kylie also took the opportunity to thank her fans for all the support they have given her and to promise them that she will be with them again, in person, very soon, but probably a new album is out of discussion for the time being.
