Investigators have revealed the name of a second casualty of the Boston bombings that have left three people dead and several others severely injured during Monday's marathon.

According to Sky News, 29-year-old Krystle Campbell accompanied a friend to the race, and was standing on the side line. She was waiting to snap a shot of her friend's boyfriend who was running in the marathon.

Campbell's mother, Patty, sobbed and told reporters that her daughter had watched the race since she was a little girl.

“She was always smiling and was such a hard-worker in everything she did. This just doesn't make any sense,” she says.

“She was a wonderful person and everyone who knew her loved her,” Patty Campbell adds.

As new details on the explosions come to light, officials recover fragments of the bomb, pointing out that they have been built out of pressure cookers and hidden in black duffel bags placed near the finish line.

This method of building Improvised Explosive Devices, or IEDs, out of pressured kitchen ware has been previously encountered in Afghanistan, sources suggest.

Another victim of the blasts was pinpointed yesterday. As we informed you, eight-year-old Martin Richard was waiting for his father by the finish line.

Once his dad crossed it, he sprinted to meet him and died while trying to return to his mother and sister.

Both were severely injured, with 6-year-old Jane losing a leg and 43-year-old mom Denise needing brain surgery. The father's status remains unknown at this point.

The third victim of the explosions is a student at Boston University, early reports say. The student is a Chinese native studying in the States as part of an exchange program, Consulate officials indicated in a statement.

The name of the victim has not been released as of yet, but we will keep you updated as this story develops.
