14 DAY TRIAL // The pixie haircut is gaining popularity with each new day: after Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson and former “Baywatch” bombshell Pamela Anderson, it’s now Kristin Chenoweth’s turn to unveil a brand new, drastic short haircut.
However, unlike in the case of these two gorgeous ladies, who went for the makeover for what I believe were purely personal reasons, Kristin has done it for her art, as hairstylist Jonathan Hanousek says on his Twitter.
“Look who came to the salon today!!! @KChenoweth went short today for her new film!! We had sooo much fun! #Cropcut #Short #BrightBlonde,” he writes in a post accompanying the pic above. Click to see it in full.
Kristin has confirmed that the pixie she’s sporting isn’t just a wig, saying on her own social media page, “#weareThunder new haircut. New year. Championship? Oh yea.”
Last time we saw Kristin, she was sporting her trademark long blonde locks and, even though the pixie is quite a change for her, she does seem to make it work. She will probably be showing it off better on her next red carpet, so just keep an eye on this space for when that happens.
