14 DAY TRIAL // It's probably the end of an “era” for Twi-hards, the diehard fans of the “Twilight” franchise: Kristen Stewart cheated on her boyfriend and co-star Robert Pattinson with a married man. She already apologized to Rob and reports say she's now planning to do the same with Rupert Sanders' wife.
Making matters more complicated is the fact that Sanders, her alleged lover, also directed her in “Snow White and the Huntsman,” which literally paves the way for conversation on how many months the affair might have lasted before they were caught.
Liberty Ross, Sanders' wife, also starred in the movie – as Snow White's mother, no less.
Kristen is set to make amends with her too, sources close to her tell Radar Online.
She couldn't have apologized to her in the same public statement / open letter in which she also begged for Robert's forgiveness, a spy believes, which can only mean that she's penning a separate letter, one that will not be released to the press.
“Kristen didn’t feel it was appropriate to issue a public apology to Liberty once the story of her affair with Rupert broke,” says the spy.
“Instead, she’s going to do the decent thing and write Liberty a private letter expressing her deepest regret for her actions. She was thinking of including Liberty, Rupert and the kids in her public apology – but Kristen was so desperate to save her relationship with Rob she decided to concentrate on that first,” the insider continues.
She said in her first statement that she'd had a “momentary indiscretion,” hinting that she did not have an affair with Sanders but merely a makeout session – the one they got busted for (photos here).
Kristen will try to make Liberty understand that.
“Kristen feels she made a terribly naive mistake and will do anything to make amends. The fact that Liberty and Rupert have two kids has now dawned on her and she feels awful for what she did,” the insider dishes.
Even if Liberty forgives her and Sanders, taking him back, chances are Kristen's relationship with Robert is dead in the water: as we also reported earlier today, the British actor has moved out of the house they shared and has probably decided to call it quits.
