14 DAY TRIAL // Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are no longer an item but, judging by the first post-scandal photos of her, she's yet to lose all hope: she's still wearing some clothes and items that once belonged or were gifted to her by Robert.
As we also noted last week, Kristen has come out from hiding. Paparazzi snapped her out and about running errands, for the first time in days after word got out that she'd cheated on her boyfriend of over 3 years, Brit heartthrob Pattinson.
Us Weekly now confirms that Kristen was actually wearing some of Robert's stuff. Fans know that she used to do that a lot when they were still together, decking herself in his shirt, tees or caps.
The force of habit is still strong with her, clearly.
“The 22-year-old actress came out of hiding for the first time since her affair scandal on Monday Aug. 20 – and new photos from that outing suggest Stewart may be sending a message to her heartbroken man, 26,” Us writes.
“Looking somber and noticeably thin, Stewart stepped out wearing numerous items belonging to Pattinson: his black backpack(adorned with blue streamers) and his black and orange Orioles baseball cap,” adds the celebrity publication.
Even more telling is the fact that Kristen was still wearing the ring Robert gave to her on what we can only assume was a very special occasion, Us points out.
“Everyone wants to know,” she once said when asked about the ring and whether it was a gift from her boyfriend. “Everyone knows already – it's ridiculous.”
So, judging by the photos and the fact that she's still wearing the ring, one can say that either the two are not broken up as the media would have us believe, or Kristen still believes getting back together is a possibility.
As we also noted at the time, Kristen was photographed kissing Rupert Sanders, a British director (married, with two children) who directed her in “Snow White and the Huntsman.”
Presumably, Robert found out about her infidelity in the press and it broke his heart.
Kristen issued a public apology to him within hours of the scandal breaking but little good it did her, word has it: Robert won't even walk the red carpet with her for the premiere of their upcoming (and last, we might say) film together, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.”
