14 DAY TRIAL // Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson seemed determined to get on with their lives after the cheating scandal believed to have broken them up, but there's still a lot of drama going on. Us Weekly has the details.
The latest print issue of the glossy (story via CB) claims to have it on very good authority that Kristen is still heartbroken that Pattinson would dump her after the scandal without as much as bothering to listen to what she had to say.
This is all the more important considering that she really didn't play that big a part in the affair that was splashed on the pages of the tabs thanks to paparazzi photos taken when neither Kristen nor Rupert Sanders, her married lover, were looking.
She was “seduced” by the film director, who is known as a “manipulative” man, insiders claim. Inexperienced and young as she was, she fell right into his trap.
As per sources, Kristen and Robert are speaking again but only because he's trying to understand her betrayal, in cheating on him with Sanders, who directed her in “Snow White and the Huntsman.”
Come to think of it, there was no “cheating” to speak of: Kristen insists she didn't sleep with Sanders and that all they did was kiss, after he pursued her relentlessly.
“Rupert’s manipulative. She didn’t go after this guy – he sought her out and she stupidly went for it,” a source is quoted as saying.
Consequently, Kristen “can’t do anything. She is really so distraught.” She'd like Robert to understand that nothing was what it seemed with those photos that emerged online some weeks ago, showing her sharing an embrace with Sanders.
“They are talking. Rob doesn’t hate her and he’s not mad… he just doesn’t get why she did it,” another source says.
It could just be that not all is lost – not yet.
“Right now their relationship isn’t defined. Rob’s dealing with a lot of indecision, but their mutual friends think they will get back together. Kristen, after all, has said she wants to have his children. He’s a great guy. This truly isn’t the end of them,” a third tipster believes.
