14 DAY TRIAL // Happy birthday to Kristen Stewart, who is turning 24 today – a wonderful age, especially if you're the darling of fashion designers and already have an extensive career as an actress/video director/poet.
Those of you who don't keep up with Kristen should know that the “Twilight” actress has an odd tradition for her birthday that she's kept for the past two years and that seems to go on.
Each time she adds a year to her age, Kristen packs up and heads to the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Annual Festival, or Coachella for short. This year too she's going to grab a couple of her closest friends and head to the festival that is supposed to start on April 11.
The kick is that she's still hoping that Robert Pattinson, her estranged former boyfriend, is going to join her, since they've gone to the festival in previous years.
“Kristen is planning a weekend-long birthday celebration with friends at Coachella. Ellie Goulding and Kate Nash will be performing and Kristen loves, loves loves Coachella,” said one of her friends when talking to Hollywoodlife.
“She wants Rob to come as well. It’s going to be so awesome cause so many amazing performers are going to be there and it’s something we all do together every year,” the insider adds, revealing that Kristen is still not over Robert and she's hoping for a reconciliation after the cheating scandal she started.
Robert's return is a possible event, since he's at the moment back in California after filming for a couple of months in Canada. Insiders claim that he's seriously thinking of going to Kristen's birthday, which would be like an unofficial reconciliation of sorts.
“Rob is back in town and he’s super psyched to spend some quality time with Kristen. He just arrived to film some scenes for the movie Life, which he was working on in Toronto,” says an inside source, but at this point it's still questionable if Robert will actually make the trip.
Meanwhile, Kristen hasn't been acting this year, deciding to take a short break from the screen. At the moment, she's focusing on fashion, having been named the new face of Chanel, as well as promoting some fragrances for Balenciaga.
It's been speculated that the only thing she wants for her birthday this year is to have Robert Pattinson come to her birthday party. We'll let you know if that happens.
