14 DAY TRIAL // Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart tried to make their 3+-year romance work after the cheating scandal in which she was involved but, as we also informed you, they couldn’t. Fresh reports suggest they’re on the verge of reconciling.
The “Twilight” duo never had it easy as far as media attention goes, with their every move being closely monitored by the press and the loving fans at home, who never stopped rooting for them.
These – the fans – should be happy to know that their idols are giving their romance another go, Us Weekly writes in the latest print issue (story via CB).
“Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who officially split in May, are hanging out again. The pair got together at her LA house August 4 for ‘a very intense conversation,’ a source tells Hot Stuff. (The British actor also visited her home in July.),” says the tab.
An insider explains that, even though Pattinson was heartbroken by Kristen’s betrayal, he can’t get her out of his mind.
“They will probably pick up where they left off. Rob is obsessed with her,” adds the source.
Luckily, another one claims the feeling is mutual so, if any of this is true, things should probably work out for the two actors.
“She’s still heartbroken. She can’t seem to get over him,” adds the second insider.
Kristen and Robert met when they started working on the first “Twilight” film and, if one is to believe reports, started dating almost immediately.
For years, they tried to downplay talk of an on-set affair, saying they were just friends even though it was clear that the fans would have loved nothing more than to hear them confirm it.
Eventually, after paparazzi shots of them kissing went public, they no longer tried to hide the relationship.
Last summer, Kristen was photographed kissing Rupert Sanders, who directed her in “Snow White and the Huntsman.” He was married at the time.
