Actress Kristen Stewart is featured on the cover and within the pages of the February 2011 issue of Vogue magazine, also referred to as the ultimate fashion bible. In the interview, the star talks of Bella, fame and what it’s like to make a lot of money.
It takes models years on the runway before they land the cover of Vogue, while older actresses (as compared to Kristen) would literally kill to even be considered for it.
Kristen too is well aware of the honor that’s being done to her, and she more than makes that clear, as the video below will confirm.
Another thing worth mentioning about the upcoming issue of the prestigious magazine is that, for once, the actress doesn’t seem as guarded as in previous interviews – therefore, she’s considerably less aggressive in tone.
The interview tackles a wide range of topics from her “Twilight” character Bella to what’s the biggest disadvantage of life in spotlight. For Kristen, that would be not being able to go to the mall anymore.
“There’s no way to eloquently put this. I just can’t go to the mall. It bothers me that I can’t be outside very often. And also to not ever be just ‘some girl’ again. Just being some chick at some place, that’s gone,” she says.
Because she’s forced to live her life in rather confined place surrounded only by a handful of people at a time, Kristen has found a new hobby: cooking. She’s also very fond of golf, precisely because not many people can play.
Not that she’s complaining about fame – at least, not anymore.
“It’s funny when you are endowed not only with public recognition on a [expletive]-ing seriously vast level, but also money. Like, funds,” the actress says with what the Vogue piece describes as “endearing earnestness.”
Stewart was reportedly paid $25 million to reprise her part in the final two “Breaking Dawn” movies, plus a cut of final gross – not too shabby for an actress who is still in her 20s.
She’s not going to spend it all at once, though, she says: right now, she’s thinking of getting involved with some charitable organization and set up a “network of halfway houses to help those who want to recover and get back on their feet.”
“That would be amazing. Right now it’s the thing I feel most connected to,” she says.
