She has no sense of humor and definitely no teeth, Joan tells the paparazzi

Joan Rivers talks a lot of smack all the time: some of it is true, some of it is controversial on purpose, jokes she comes up with based on the many things she reads online about fellow celebrities. All of this stuff she then puts in books or in her shows, and it’s clear that she does it because she’s deliberately trying to get a rise out of her “targets.”

Kristen Stewart took the bait, Joan tells TMZ paparazzi in a chat outside her hotel. The actress has threatened to sue her over a comment Joan included in her most recent book, “Diary of a Mad Diva,” about how the only reason Kristen was famous was because she’d “slept her way to fame.”

“Many stars only do one thing well. Of course, the best one-trick pony is Kristen Stewart, who got a whole career by being able to juggle directors' balls,” Joan Rivers wrote, referring to the scandal involving Kristen and married movie director Rupert Sanders, which ruined her romance with Robert Pattinson and his marriage to Liberty Ross.

Kristen doesn’t have a sense of humor, Joan believes. If she had, she wouldn’t go suing people left and right for something said as a joke because she’d know better that this wasn’t the way she became famous.

She does have a point there: Kristen has been working in the industry since she was a kid (literally), and attained worldwide fame with the first “Twilight” movie, which came out years before the Sanders affair.

So clearly, she can’t take a joke, Rivers concludes.

“I am now being sued by Kristen Stewart. She obviously didn't read our disclaimer, which says it's a comedy book. I can't wait to get her into court because I'm gonna get a puppet and I want her to show me on the puppet where she thinks I claim she touched her director. I am looking forward to it,” Rivers laughed.

“Her lawyer contacted my lawyer, which shows the sense of humor she has. My answer to her was, ‘Be glad you're not a Kardashian because they're mentioned a lot more in the book’... I'm a comedian. I've been doing it for 50 years. If people don't get it, then don't come and see me. It's okay. Don't read the book. If you're gonna take it seriously, you're a fool,” she continued.

She also said that she believed that Stewart never smiled in paparazzi photos because she was missing something more than a sense of humor: teeth. To finish the chat on a high note, Rivers joked that this actually made Kristen “better in bed.”
