After the cheating scandal of last summer, word got out that Universal no longer wanted to work with either Kristen Stewart or director Rupert Sanders, so a sequel to “Snow White and the Huntsman” became an impossibility.

Not so fast, Kristen says in a new interview, as the video below will confirm.

While on a promo tour for “Breaking Dawn Part 2,” the final “Twilight” installment, Kristen was asked about “Snow White” and whether there is any chance fans will see her back as that character.

“Maybe,” she said. “No one’s positive or anything, but I think there’s a strong possibility,” Stewart added.

This would mean that earlier reports – that Universal would simply create instead a Huntsman spinoff – would never come to be.

From the start, the plan was to set up a new franchise, but a lukewarm reception at the box office and from the critics of the film, followed by the scandal, apparently made that impossible. Or did it?
