Ever since they more or less confirmed they're an item, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been tabloid fodder for imagined pregnancies, breakups and other juicy stories. This time, there's nothing imagined about it: Us Weekly has photos of Kristen Stewart kissing a married man and it's not for a film.

The celebrity publication, whose cover for the latest issue you can also see attached to this article, has photos of Kristen and Rupert Sanders, the 41-year-old director of “Snow White and the Huntsman,” kissing on July 17.

Kristen has been dating “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson for a while now, and Sanders too is married to model Liberty Ross.

Even so, Us has photos of the two being very passionate, with insiders saying they seemed they “they couldn't get enough” of each other.

The cover also includes an inset which seems as if the two are being romantic, with the caption proclaiming “Kristen cheats on Rob! A heartbreaking discovery for Rob as Kristen's steamy affair with a married man is caught on camera.”

To make matters even worse, People magazine too confirms the story. For those who don't know, Us Weekly might be far from reliable, but People enjoys the most credibility out of all glossies.

An insider tells the latter publication that, while Kristen did not have an affair per se with Sanders, she did have a fling with him, which she now regrets more than anything she's ever done.

“The relationship between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson has been rocked by the revelation that the actress had a brief fling with a married director,” People writes.

Now that word of it has gotten out in the press, Kristen has come to realize how wrong she was to act this way.

“Kristen is absolutely devastated. It was a mistake and a complete lapse in judgment,” an insider shares for People.

Even though she met Sanders while shooting for “Snow White,” they did not act on the attraction they felt towards each other right then.

“She wasn't having an affair with Rupert. It was just a fleeting moment that shouldn't have happened. She never meant to hurt anyone. She's a good person who just made a bad choice,” says the insider.

Calls for comment to both Sanders and Stewart's publicists have not been returned at the time of writing.
