Dax Shephard and his “most beautiful, nerdy angel,” wife Kristen Bell are now the proud parents of a healthy baby girl, whom they just brought home, as they were quick to boast on Twitter.

The two confirmed the pregnancy last November and hinted at the due date, but would not get into more details, which made sense if you think about how the paparazzi hounded Kristen since they made the big announcement.

Hours after tweeting a photo of her baby bump with the family dog resting his head on it and the caption “Eavesdropping,” Kristen gave birth.

Both parents have already gushed about the new arrival on Twitter but, as of now, are yet to provide curious fans with a photo as well.

“Lincoln Bell Shepard is here. She has mom's beauty and dad's obsession with breasts. Hooray!” Dax writes.

The new mommy too was in a tweeting mood, sharing the good news with her fans.

“My new roommate poops her pants and doesn't pay rent... basically Dax Shepard pre-sobriety. Welcome baby Lincoln,” the actress writes.

Besides making headlines for being pregnant, just recently, Kristen Bell also got plenty of attention as a Kickstarter campaign to make a “Veronica Mars” movie reached its goal in record time, officially greenlighting the project.

Fans and everyone involved on the TV series have been praying for a movie for years, but it wasn’t until series creator Rob Thomas thought of Kickstarter that it became a possibility.

Thomas explained that the project already had the blessing of the studio bosses, as long as they could somehow come up with $2 million (€1.59 million) in cash to finance it independently.

Kickstarter was their last hope and, as it turned out, also the best place to reach out to fans, who have proved more than eager to lend a helping hand: the money was raised in under 10 hours.
