Though she might not look it, Kris is apparently a wizz in the kitchen, so much so that she's actually coming out with her own cookbook, to enlighten her faithful followers on what exactly gets her family rubbing their bellies and making yummy noises.

Speaking with E! News, Kris confirmed that she was about to launch a new business venture, thus expanding her ever-growing media empire. This time it's something a little out of her league, but somehow, the resourceful Kris has managed to spin this cookbook thing to be about her family, the Kardashian-Jenners.

The book called “In the Kitchen with Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites” is still being worked on and will see the light of day in October. The book's Amazon page describes the culinary guide as “another way to bring fans in Kris's home with recipes and entertaining tips that can be used by everyone everywhere.”

Some of you might raise an eyebrow at Kris' culinary skills, but the cover of the book is aimed to mean business and put your worries aside. A smartly dressed Kris smiles from the cover of her cookbook, accompanied by images of tasty dishes such as a plate of pasta or a slice of pie.

Kris said in an interview that she “finally got so tired of sharing my recipes one-by-one with everybody that asked, that it just made sense to do a book and put it all together.” Because everyone knows that if you need advice in the kitchen, you go to momma Kris.

Though in the 9 years her show has been airing, people haven't seen her spend that much time in the kitchen feeding her family, Kris admits that she does make “a mean grilled cheese sandwich” for her grandchildren, although many chefs out there might not consider that proper cooking.

For people keeping tabs, this isn't the first literary effort the Kardashians have put out on the market. It's not even the first book that Kris has published. Several years ago, in 2011, she wrote and published her memoir, aptly titled “Kris Jenner … And All Things Kardashian.”

Then there's the literary effort of her two young daughters, Kendall and Kylie, a sci-fi young adult book called “Rebels: City of Indra” which was actually ghost-written by someone else. The novel enjoyed moderate popularity among readers, but thanks to the efforts of the Kardashian clan matriarch, it's in talks to be turned into a movie, which she hopes will be the next “Twilight.”

The Kardashian sisters, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney have also published books of their own, not wanting to be outdone by their younger siblings and famous mother. Their collection of titles include “Dollhouse” and “Kardashian Konfidential.”
