There is no interest in Kris, which explains its absence from all schedules

This summer, Kris Jenner finally got to see her dream of becoming a talk show host come true, with a 6-episode trial run of her own show, simply called Kris. If all went well, she would have gotten a first season this fall but, according to THR, you should probably not be holding your breath for that to happen.

The truth is, while Kris did fare decently, it wasn’t even close to the hit her people thought it would be so, at this point, ordering a full season would not be wise.

With so-and-so ratings, Kris is unlikely to launch this fall, “if ever,” an insider says for the trade publication. If you think that Kris even got Kanye West on the show to talk for the first time about his romance with Kim Kardashian and show off their recently born daughter North in a world exclusive, Kris could actually be considered a flop.

“The talk show had a summer test run on Fox stations with mixed results,” the insider says, adding that it’s “conspicuously missing in all the schedule maneuvering.” Which is to say, if it had been picked up, it would have had a slot in the schedule, but it doesn’t.

The bottom line is that Kris Jenner made Kris mostly about the Kardashians, relying heavily on the family for ratings. They already have at least one reality show going (E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians), so not many were that interested in tuning in to Kris for more of the same.
