Kris Jenner's Marriage on the Rocks Because of Kim's Divorce

The Kardashian empire is being shaken to the core by Kim Kardashian's unexpected decision to get a divorce from her husband of 72 days, Kris Humphries. Not only did it mean a decline in popularity for her, but it's even affecting her mother's marriage to Bruce Jenner.

A new report in the print issue of The National Enquirer (story via here) says that Kris Jenner, who manages the career of all her children, including Kim, is seriously considering pulling the plug on her 20-year marriage to Bruce Jenner.

Both are sick and tired of each other, and both want to give up on their relationship. Bruce, for one, is completely fed up with Kris and her skewed priorities, says the report.

One thing that may turn out to be the proverbial straw on the camel's back is how Kris reacted to news that Kim wanted to end her marriage after only 72 days, the Enquirer claims.

“They are at a breaking point in the relationship… For the first time, he’s questioning her decisions about the family and business. And he gave Kim an earful about walking away from her marriage to Kris Humphries too soon,” an unnamed but admittedly reliable source says for the publication.

“And Bruce blames Kris J. for driving Humphries away. But Kris can’t stand the basketball player and fully supports Kim plowing ahead with the divorce,” the insider notes.

Bruce is also upset that Kris is dedicating so much of her time being a manager instead of being a mother and wife.

He's also bothered about the direction the family's reality show has taken, and simply wants a breather from the insanity.

“Bruce has started standing up for himself, insists Kris cut back on her work and is spending more time away from the house to enjoy time by himself,” the spy explains.

“He now wants a life away from the TV craziness. As a result, he and Kris are at a crisis point in their marriage,” notes the insider.

Frankly, Bruce doesn't believe there's anything to be done to save the marriage – and neither does Kris.

“He loved being a team with her in the early days of their marriage, but there seems little hope for reviving that between his outside interests and her managing and running the Kardashian empire 24-7,” the same spy adds.
