Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner announced their separation almost one year ago, effectively putting an end to their 23-year marriage. During this time, there was still some talk about the possibility of getting back together, which they duly encouraged because it helped them boost ratings for the family reality show, but right now, there is no more going back.

Kris has filed the divorce papers, with various sources close to the family noting that the divorce will be a very amicable one. What it won’t be is cheap.

The two filed the papers and settled everything there was to settle prior to that without even getting attorneys involved, relying only on the counsel of their business managers. When it comes to two stars who make the kind of money these two make, this isn’t a small thing, trust us.

Divorce settlement is worth $60 million (€46.7 million)

In their 23 years of marriage, Kris and Bruce had every penny they made go straight into a joint account (with some minor exceptions), TMZ confirms, “that includes their TV profits, Bruce's speaking engagements and their ownership in various businesses.”

The many millions they’ve made so far from the family reality show, the E!-produced Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and all associated deals (including fashion and products), also went into this joint bank account. The report notes that division of all assets and funds was “amicable and easy” because the split was just that too.

There is no interest on either part of looking to “score” from the divorce at the expense of the other.

“Part of the settlement... Kris gets the Hidden Hills estate. Bruce gets to keep his Sherwood Country Club membership. There's no spousal support. The property gets divided, and that's that,” TMZ adds.

The money and the assets total a grand $60 million (€46.7 million). Celebrities are known to put up bitter divorce fights especially when big money is involved, but Kris and Bruce seem to be the exception, offering an actual lesson in friendship, respect and trust.

Bruce will most likely fade away into the KUWTK background

Even after the legal separation, Bruce remained a part of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (KUWTK), even accompanying the family on a trip to Thailand, which was entirely documented on camera and included on the most recent season.

Still, if you loved watching him on the show, now would be a good time to prepare yourself for the final goodbye: there’s a lot of talk online right now that the finalization of the divorce will instantly translate into his departure from the series (which he’s said to have wanted for some time), and probably the demise of the show as well.

In case of the former, he will probably fade away into the background and only make the occasional cameo, if any at all.

The bad news is that other family members will probably follow him out the E! door (his sons from a previous marriage specifically), insiders say. Kris is said to be furious that the divorce is costing her her reality TV empire, but if that’s true, she’s putting on a very brave face because the divorce so far has been an exemplarily amicable one.
