It's been a long time coming, but Kris and Bruce Jenner finally decided to file for divorce, 11 months after they separated and 23 years after they first got married. The momager and the former athlete have decided to put an end to their marriage which has been very well documented on their reality series.

Radar is announcing that the couple finally filed the paperwork in Los Angeles to end their marriage, their reason being “irreconcilable differences,” which, in celebrity circles has come to mean “I'm tired of living with you, I want to find someone else.”

Kris Jenner files the legal papers in Los Angeles, wants to keep her jewels

The court documents show that Kris is filing for the joint physical custody of their daughter Kylie, 17, their only underage child, since Kendall is 18. In the documents she also mentions that she wants to keep her jewelry and all assets from the date of separation.

Regarding their other properties, those accumulated during their marriage, the couple has agreed to divide at a later date, probably in an effort to expedite the divorce right now. By agreeing to divide joint assets later, they can just have the divorce now and decide who gets what after the proceedings.

This ends a 23-year-long marriage for the couple

The couple gave the official date of their separation as June 1, 2013. The gossip is that the split is due to the fact that Bruce Jenner is planning a transition to womanhood, by a gender change operation. He has undergone several procedures in the last year that gave him a distinctly feminine demeanor, despite the fact that he's denied his gender change on numerous occasions.

Kris and Bruce got married in 1991, shortly after Kris divorced Robert Kardashian Sr. In two decades of marriage, the couple amassed a fortune of millions from their reality empire as well as several product lines and marketing arrangements. However, money does not equal happiness as the couple reportedly grew apart.

In October last year, they confirmed they had been living apart for a couple of months and Bruce had moved into their Malibu beach house. The two later released a statement “We are living separately and we are much happier this way. But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends, and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”

The split was well documented on Keeping Up with the Karsdashians and the family, particularly Kylie and Kendall took the news of their parents splitting pretty hard.

This divorce is the latest in a long line for the women of the Kardashian family. In fact, there is no female member of the clan who didn't have at least one divorce, from those who were married, of course. Kim's divorce was finalized in June and Khloe's split from Lamar is set to be finished soon, as she filed over 6 months ago.
