Kris Jenner Wants Daniel Craig's Apology for Saying Kardashians Are Idiots

In his latest GQ interview, respectable actor Daniel Craig called the Kardashian family a bunch of “idiots” for selling their private life and then expecting to get privacy whenever they felt like it. Kris Jenner, mother and manager of the Kardashian and Jenner girls, is now expecting an apology.

While Craig didn't set out in the interview to bash the Kardashians, he was speaking about privacy and how many celebrities have a hard time protecting theirs, what with the paparazzi and the tabloids and whatnot.

Reality families, though, are an entirely different matter, he said. He then referred to the Kardashian clan, as being the most famous and highest earning family now on TV.

“Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions. I don’t think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them. You see that and you think ‘what, you mean all I have to do is behave like a [expletive]-ing idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions’,” he said, as we also informed you at the time.

“I’m not judging it – well, I am obviously,” he added.

Well, his criticism is not welcome, Mrs. Jenner tells Heat magazine, when asked about how she felt when she read those things about her family in GQ (story via the Daily Mail).

Moreover, she expects Daniel to apologize to her and her family – because that's what a real man would do.

“[He has] crossed the line. It's not made him look like the world's nicest guy. The right thing for a real man to do now would be to issue a public apology,” Kris says.

“The easy thing would be to criticize his career now, but our family won't stoop to that level,” she adds.

As expected, voices in the blogosphere are already pointing out all the things wrong with Jenner's statement: for one, they say, Mr. Craig has nothing to apologize for because he spoke the truth.

He didn't do more than point out that the Kardashians had made a fortune off shows on their personal lives, and that they were now asking for “privacy” simply because media scrutiny didn't sit well with them at that time.

Secondly, even if she wanted to, Mrs. Jenner couldn't find anything to criticize about Daniel's career. Granted, his latest film, “Cowboys & Aliens” didn't fare as expected at the box office, but he remains one of the most talented, appreciated and bankable stars of the moment.
