14 DAY TRIAL // Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have been together for almost 8 years and, despite some tensions here and there, they have managed to build a beautiful family together. They’re not married, but they have a son and a daughter, and now another child on the way.
That first part, about not being married, is starting to get on momager Kris Jenner’s nerves, just like it has with some fans who religiously tune in for the family reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, always hoping a wedding announcement would be included.
Apparently, Kris believes the time has come for Kourtney to stop avoiding the issue and just get married already, a family source reveals for the Daily Mail. It is believed it’s Kourtney who refuses to walk down the aisle and that it’s been driving Scott insane.
“Committing to parent three kids, when you haven’t even committed to each other, doesn’t cut it in Kris’s book. She comes from a time when, if a girl got pregnant and was still single, she got married as soon as possible,” the insider says.
“Although she understands times have changed, she still has religious values and feels it’s only right that Scott make an ‘honest woman’ out of her little girl,” adds the tipster.
She’s happy that rapper Kanye West did it with Kim, the mother of his baby girl North West – and she wants the same for Kourtney and Scott.
Nothing would please Kris more than seeing her walk down the aisle and, considering how much money the Kardashians make off their personal life, particularly weddings, we’d say she’d be pleased for a variety of reasons. That E! paycheck is also among them.
Another source claims that the usually reticent Kourtney is finally warming up to the idea of getting hitched, but she’s yet to commit to an answer in the positive.
“Up until now Kourtney hasn’t been interested in getting married, but at 35, she’s beginning to feel it’s time. She’s expecting the couple’s third child and if Scott would agree to a small, quiet ceremony – nothing like the one Kim just had – I think she’d be up for it,” the tipster shares.
Earlier this year, while the brouhaha around Kim’s Italian wedding hadn’t even started properly, there were several reports saying that Kourtney and Scott had been spotted scouting wedding locations, both back home and abroad.
Nothing ever came out of them, but many fans are still to lose hope that they’re about to finally become husband and wife in an intimate ceremony, with just family and friends by their side – and, of course, those television cameras. Wedding TV specials are too profitable to even dream Kourtney would not do one if she ever married Scott.
