14 DAY TRIAL // Thanksgiving is nearly here and most Americans have already made arrangements to travel and be with their family on this special holiday. Not so the Kardashians and the Jenners, who for 2014, have decided they want nothing to do with mother and manager Kris Jenner, who usually hosts Thanksgiving dinner at her home.
A lot of bad stuff has happened this past year and it translated into the once tight-knit family looking for ways to cut down on the time they spent together. So right now, Kris is preparing for a very sad and rather lonely Thanksgiving, because no one wants to sit down and have dinner with her, insiders reveal for Radar Online.
Kris’ new man is causing friction in the family
Well, no one but her new boyfriend, the much younger Corey Gamble, whom she started dating a short while ago. According to the report, Kris is determined to introduce him into the family properly and officially, by having him over for Thanksgiving dinner.
Her younger daughters and their father, estranged husband Bruce, are not happy about that – not at all. Bruce is said to be relieved to be out of her reach and he wants to spend his first Thanksgiving break as far away from her as possible. That obviously rules out sitting down for diner with her and her new boytoy.
Kendall and Kylie, though close to their mother, are siding with their father on this one, so they too have told Kris they won’t be attending what was once the family dinner on Thanksgiving.
The Kardashians won’t be there, except for Kim
No one knows if Khloe and Rob will attend, but chances are they won’t: Rob has been in hiding for months, with countless reports saying that Kris played a part in his decision to go off the grid for a while, because she kept pressuring him to lose weight, which only made his self-esteem and overeating issues worse.
Khloe could skip the dinner to be with Rob, and because she and Kris haven’t exactly seen eye to eye as of late. In a new video from their reality show, Khloe was heard yelling at her mom that, if it hadn’t been for her, she would have still been married to Lamar Odom.
Kourtney and Scott are now getting ready for the birth of their third child, and have decided to do something as a separate family this holiday. Rumor has it they’re also going through a rough patch again, so this might not be the best time for them to go out, not when they have their own issues as a couple to work through.
Kim and husband Kanye will be there, though. Kim never misses a meeting with her mother and, dishes a spy, she’s sure to live-tweet her way through the dinner just to prove to the world what a happy family they are.
“It’s just sad,” says a spy. “The holidays used to be the best time at their place – their holiday parties, the mood, everything. But it’s gone now.”
