14 DAY TRIAL // Just when do racy photo shoots become inappropriate for women of a certain age? At what age does posing without a top become cringe-worthy rather than appealing? These days, momager and matriarch Kris Jenner is flirting with that exact concept as her daughters are appalled about the competition their mother is giving them.
Kris Jenner is definitely trying to amp up her hotness factor. In the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality show, Kris definitely gives her daughters, some well in their 30s, a run for their money, as she poses for a wet T-shirt photo shoot which leaves some essential bits of her anatomy exposed to the eye of the camera.
Kim, Kourtney and Khloe were left cringing after their mom bared just a little too much flesh during her shoot, but also later when she decided to take up pole dancing. Kim went on the record and whined to the camera “I think she is so funny and amazing. But my mom literally copies everything I do. I posted this swimsuit picture and then mom posted a swimsuit picture right afterwards. I mean, I get it, but come on.”
But Kris isn't taking no for an answer and she's determined to go toe to toe with all of her girls, as the producers actually had to censor some of her footage on the show, to keep bits of her chest off national television. “In my mind age is just a number,” she said adding that “And the fact that I'm keeping up with these girls - I'm having fun.”
Her “fun” might be connected with the fact that Kris has recently become single after her split from Bruce Jenner and she might be on the market for a new man. That's why she's putting her good out there.
But daughter Kim Kardashian immediately shot her down, telling her bluntly “I want you to act more age appropriate,” as Kris announced that she was going to spend her day with rapper P Diddy's crew.
There's only one thing Kris' recent campaign to keep up with her girls is going to elicit from fans: outrage, which is probably what the producers were banking on in the first place. Of course, not all 58-year-old women out there today look like Kris, but that's a whole different issue altogether.
Somehow, Kris just can't come to terms with the fact that her flirting days in an overt way are over and she should clear the stage for her grown-up daughters.
