Out of the unlikeliest people to start feuding, Kris Jenner and the Thompsons were probably at the bottom of the list. Even so, the Kardashian momager is fuming that June Shannon, Honey Boo Boo’s mother, is making money off her kid and family the same way she does.
Honey Boo Boo is the nickname given to Alana Thompson, a kiddie beauty queen who owes her “career” on the kiddie pageant circuit and television to her mother June Shannon.
They and the rest of their family are the stars of TLC’s latest hit reality series,
“Here Comes Boo Boo,” which is still going up in the ratings and, at the same time,
making its protagonists rich.
Kris Jenner, who manages the Kardashian – Jenner girls and can boast of being the momager to the most successful women on TV (and not just in reality television either), is fuming mad that Honey Boo Boo is threatening to take her daughters’ place in the hearts of Americans.
At the same time, in typical pot calling the kettle black fashion, she argues that Shannon is being the worst mother around by pimping out her daughter like that, sources familiar with the situation say for
Radar Online.
“To say Kris is not a fan of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is an understatement. She thinks the Thompsons are classless, unlike her family and can’t understand why America is so fascinated by them,” one such spy says for Radar.
“The show has become bigger than Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and Kris is starting to feel threatened by its success. Kris especially has a strong dislike for June, claiming the beauty pageant world is vile and that June is a bad mom for 'exploiting' Alana in that way,” the insider goes on to say.
Not only is Shannon a bad mother but she’s also exposing her kid to the cameras at such an early age in “a ploy to make money.” Jenner, apparently, finds the whole scheme
“disgusting.”
“Although it’s like pot calling the kettle black – you could say that Kris does exactly the same with her family,” the tipster adds.
