14 DAY TRIAL // Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian’s mother and manager (momager), has just confirmed on The View that her daughter and beau Kanye West named their firstborn daughter North West. Video of that is embedded below.
Following days of intense speculation on the name the two chose for their first child, Kris offers an explanation for what is surely a very odd, to say the least, choice.
“The way [Kim] explained it to me was that North means Highest Power, and she says that North is their highest point together,” Kris tells the ladies on The View.
“I thought that was really sweet,” she adds.
As you can see for yourself, Kris doesn’t really appreciate Barbara Walters’ jokes that Kim and Kanye could name their future children after the remaining cardinal points. To her credit, she doesn’t show it… all that much.
