Blaine Morris was just looking for attention when she picked on Kendall, apparently

Kendall Jenner is determined to prove to the world that she’s not as nasty as Blaine Morris, an aspiring actress and former waitress, makes her appear, after running to the tabs with a story about how she had money thrown in her face. She has the best defender she could ask for, in the person of mother and manager Kris Jenner.

The scandal started last week, when Morris tweeted that she had one of the Kardashians at the restaurant she was working at, Mercer Kitchen. She also claimed that the Kardashian tried to skip out on her bill and when she (Morris) went after her, she threw the money in her face.

The tweet was deleted very quickly, but not before the New York Post made it into a story that spread like wildfire online, being considered confirmation that the younger Jenner girls were just as bad (in the sense of insensitive, shallow and rude) as the older Kardashian sisters.

Since then, Morris quit her job because of the humiliation she’d been subjected to, and an attorney for Kendall sent her a cease-and-desist demanding an apology and a retraction, or she would be sued.

The owner of Mercer Kitchen has also gone on record to apologize to Kendall for the scandal, but confirming Morris’ story: Kendall did throw a fit and tried to skip out on the bill because she’d tried to get someone to serve her alcohol, fully knowing that she was not of age for that.

Kris Jenner is also chiming in now. The other day, she co-hosted a show on E!, where she also shed some light on the controversy, saying that Morris must have only picked on Kendall because she was looking for her 15 minutes of fame.

“Well, first of all, the woman tweeted ‘chasing a Kardashian down the street.’ Kendall’s a Jenner, so [Morris] needed, I guess, to get that attention out there,” Kris said, as the video below can confirm.

She picked the wrong Jenner for that, because Kendall would never do what Morris claimed she did.

“If anybody knows our little Kendall – our tall Kendall – she’s the most respectful little girl in the world and would never do anything like that. And once she realized what was going on she absolutely gave the woman the 30 dollars [€22.4] that she owed – or 33 dollars [€24.6], plus a tip – and felt very horrible about the fact that somebody would do this and create these stories and start spreading things,” she added.

Just like Kendall’s attorney, Kris didn’t deny that Kendall and her friend left without paying, but insisted that the whole thing was a misunderstanding. But that’s the extent of it: Morris lied about being thrown money in her face and about Kendall ordering alcohol.
