14 DAY TRIAL // Kris Jenner refused to comment for ABC before the airdate of the historical Diane Sawyer special with Bruce Jenner, in which he came out as a trans-woman, and we now know why. She’s been “saving” her reaction to be included on another E! special on the topic.
As you must have heard, this summer, E! will air a docuseries on Bruce’s transition, one that will show viewers the struggles, the difficulties, but also the fun moments of his “journey.”
However, before that, the network says, they will air a 2-part Keeping Up with the Kardashians special. So far, the reality show has not addressed the transition in any way, and this special will do just that.
So you see, it was vital for Kris to keep completely mum on the topic. Had she reacted in any way, except for the tweet of love and support for Bruce, the surprise would have been ruined.
With the announcement, E! also released a first teaser for the special, which you can find embedded below. It shows daughter Kim “counseling” a crying Kris about thinking about Bruce first and foremost: it must be hell to have to wake up every single day and feel like you don’t belong in the body you have, she tells her.
In response, Kris starts crying, saying she feels like she lost all the memories she had with Bruce, because, suddenly, he is not the person she thought he was.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce will also feature footage with Bruce’s children and Kris’ 3 girls, including Kim. So it will turn into a circus, after all, just like everything this family does.
