Kris Humphries Watched Kim Kardashian's Reality Show in 'Horror'

On Sunday, the second season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York premiered to much hype, showing that the first cracks in Kim Kardashian's marriage to Kris Humphries appeared right after the honeymoon. Kris was reportedly appalled by what he saw on the show.

As we also informed you yesterday, the new season of the reality series seems will probably be a divorce chronicle for Kim, one that paints Kris as the villain and the socialite as the victim.

Sources close to the basketball star, who is now in hiding in Minnesota after Kim decided to end the marriage after just 72 days, tell Radar Online that he was shocked and horrified about how the show portrayed him.

Kris is not denying that he had moments when he blew a fuse in an argument, but he's telling friends that E! producers are going out of their way to present him in a very unflattering light.

He watched the episode in “utter horror, because it's just not a true depiction about what was actually going on between Kim and Kris. Kris did jokingly say that Kim ate too much wedding cake, but what viewers didn't see was Kim nagging Kris about working,” says the spy.

In other words, Kim provoked the reaction in him. Kris believes producers set him up from the beginning, just waiting for him to do something that could be spun differently in the final version.

“There was nothing he could do about the NBA lockout, he was working out, and getting ready for the upcoming season, and he is a free agent. It was actually Kim's idea that Kris go back to Minnesota to train and give them some distance,” the insider explains.

“Kris wasn't getting any sleep at all with Mason's playroom literally set up outside their bedroom door. It made no sense for Mason's play area to be on the second floor of the suite Kim, Kris, Scott and Kourtney were staying in,” the spy further says.

“Scott and Kourtney were staying downstairs, and Scott felt that the producers of the show were just trying to provoke him into reactions,” the same source is quoted as saying.

With all that, even if he was shocked to see how he was portrayed on the show, it didn't really come as a surprise, says another insider: he knows Kim only too well and he expected that the moment he heard in the press she was divorcing him.
