Kris Humphries Wants Prenup Dismissed to Talk to the Media

Kris Humphries wants to be free to speak to the press about his 72-day marriage to Kim Kardashian, so he plans to ask a judge to dismiss the prenup they had signed before they got married in August. As we know, he also wants the marriage annulled.

The three are actually closely linked to one another, Radar Online informs. Kris has asked for an annulment to have the prenup dismissed to be able to talk to the media.

As one would expect from a business savvy reality star like Kim Kardashian, in the prenup, she included a clause that bars either party (herself or Kris) from talking about the other.

There are clear signs this is precisely what Humphries wants to do, presumably in a bid to clear his name in the ongoing scandal, by laying all the blame for the failed marriage at Kim's door.

He's already filed papers for the annulment, citing “fraud” as grounds for his petition.

“It's a brilliant strategic move because by seeking to have the marriage annulled, Humphries can request that the prenup be tossed, primarily so he won't be muzzled by the confidentiality agreement,” Radar notes.

An unnamed source says for the e-zine that Kris is fed up with being treated like dirt. So, he plans to go straight for the jugular and hurt Kim where it hurts her the most, her public image, by exposing her as a fraud.

“The confidentiality aspect of the prenup is extensive and was created just in case things went bad, neither Kim nor Kris could discuss their relationship to the media. But now, Kris wants to be able to talk about the relationship without fear of being sued,” says the insider.

“Kris is getting excellent legal advice. If the judge annuls the marriage, they were never legally married, and the prenup at that point is really moot,” the spy adds.

“Kris wants this to play out in court, and wants the process to be transparent. If this needs to go to trial, he is ready for that. The gloves are off, Kris won't be a doormat anymore,” the same source further says.

A special clause in the prenup would also explain why Kris has been keeping mum on the subject of the divorce ever since Kim released the statement announcing it.
