It's war: Kim Kardashian has already filed for divorce from her basketball husband of 72 days Kris Humphries, but he's not going down without a fight. He wants an annulment because he believes he was duped into the marriage.
Various reports in the press are saying Kris doesn't want to divorce Kim. It's not that he plans to stay married to the reality star: he believes the marriage should be annulled because it was a fraud from the start.
In other words, Kris is now trying to say that Kim married him to boost rating for her reality show. In such a scenario, a divorce simply won't do.
TMZ claims to have it on very good authority that Kris is trying again to get the marriage annulled.
“Kris Humphries just filed for an annulment against Kim Kardashian, on grounds Kim defrauded him into marrying her,” the celebrity e-zine writes.
Kim planned from the start to marry and divorce Kris in such a manner as to get the most exposure and, with it, most lucrative media deals.
“Sources close to Kris tell TMZ, Kris was not in on the alleged fraud, meaning he did not stage the marriage for Kim's reality show. We're told Kris wanted this to be a genuine marriage, but Kim was never really on board,” TMZ writes.
This would explain why Kim gave up on the marriage so quickly, after just 72 days.
“Kim has already filed for divorce – but according to the docs, obtained by TMZ – Kris wants Kim to pay his attorney's fees,” TMZ further informs.
“The short story here – there's going to be a fight, because Kris thinks Kim did him in,” adds the same report.
Perhaps to counteract Kris' claim that the marriage was a sham from the start comes a report in Star Magazine, which claims that Kris is actually gay and that this was the real reason the marriage ended in divorce and the (still ongoing) drama.
