14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier reports said that Kris Humphries didn't want to sign the divorce papers and that he was determined to give Kim Kardashian, his wife of 72 days, a run for her money. It turns out that's not true.
TMZ has learned that Kris has turned to his ever-reliable attorney for assistance in the divorce proceedings and, seeing how he doesn't even specializes in divorces, it looks like he's not getting ready to put up much of a fight.
In other words, Humphries will let Kim divorce him just as quickly as she agreed to marry him.
“Kris is using his Minnesota attorney – Lee Hutton – to end his marriage to Kim Kardashian. Hutton reps a lot of sports stars and doesn't do much in the way of divorce. But that's OK, because this divorce will be easy as pie,” the celebrity gossip website writes.
Because the two had an ironclad prenup negotiated before they tied the knot, there isn't a lot to talk over in the divorce proceedings, TMZ further points out.
Plus, they were married for just 72 days so they don't have any joint assets to divide between them now that their marriage has gone down the drain.
“Sources connected with Kris and Kim tell us, there are NO conflicts over who gets what, largely because of the prenup. BTW, Hutton repped Kris when the prenup was negotiated,” says the e-zine.
“We're told – barring something unforeseen – the divorce will become final 6 months from the date Kim filed. That's the minimum time required by law,” TMZ writes.
As it happens, that's also a lot longer than they were actually married.
In other Kardashian news, despite claims from the reality family that there is no bad blood between the exes in the divorce, a new report suggests the exact contrary of that.
Sources close to Kris, who admittedly still doesn't know what brought about Kim's divorce decision, are telling the tabs that he has evidence of what a fake she is, down to her trademark curves and backside, as we also told you earlier today.
Consequently, Kris plans to go public with the proof he has and expose Kim as a fake.
