Kim Kardashian and her family are still trying to get back in the good graces of the public by playing the hopeless romantic angle in the press. Today, it's Kris and Bruce Jenner's turn.
The two were on the Ellen DeGeneres show the other day, trying to defend Kim's 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, as the video below will show.
They didn't make any new revelations or offer an insight into Kim's reasons for divorce, but just repeated what she had already said: a hopeless romantic, she believed she would grow old with Kris.
When she realized it wasn't going to work, she “cut her losses” and ended the marriage.
Kris Jenner says that she doesn't really care what people have to say about Kim and her alleged fake marriage, as long as she is happy, which is exactly what any parent wants.
“I trust my kids and we give them a lot of support. As a Mom you want your kids to be really happy. What makes them happy makes us happy,” she says.
“It’s our job to support them so I don’t question some of their decisions. Obviously we have internal conversations… [Like] What the hell are you doing?” she says.
While Kris is determined to show unconditional support to Kim or any other of her siblings, Bruce plans to put his foot down in the future.
“Maybe we should start questioning some of their decisions. They’re adults. Kim, once she got into the relationship it was going so fast. Kimberly is in love. She’s now 31 years old. She’s not married doesn’t have any kids. I mean, she wants that in her life and she was pushing for it. I think once she got into she realized this is not going to work,” he says.
However, “The next guy’s got to go through me,” Bruce adds speaking of Kim's next boyfriend.
