Midnight City has announced that the quirky indie racing game Krautscape will be making an appearance on Steam, for Windows PC, coming early this year.

Krautscape is an action-packed multiplayer racing game that features some innovative concepts and vibrant, colorful visuals, aiming to deliver an original and challenging experience.

The game comes from Mario von Rickenback and has players controlling hybrid bird-car vehicles that compete on color-soaked racetracks in the sky. Players can jump off the track at any time and employ their vehicle's wings to glide through the air in order to get ahead, avoid obstacles or collect special bonuses.

The race track is not to be ignored though, as it is used for pilots to gain speed and score points in order to ensure their victory. The race track is generated in real time by the leading player, meaning that no two races will ever be the same and the gameplay will be totally unpredictable and fresh each time around.

Krautscape will feature speed trials and other different challenge modes to test its players, that have to compete against each other for more than just being the first one to cross the finish line.
