Players will be able to create the track while racing on it

Krautscape, a bizarre racing game developed by Mario von Rickenbach and Playables LLC, and published by Midnight City, could also get a Linux version.

Krautscape is not your average racing game. The cars are actually very bird-like and the players are creating the tracks while they are racing, which is an entirely new concept. Krautscape has been accepted in the Early Access Game program from Valve, which means that it's still under development. Users can buy it, but it will have some bugs until the final version.

“The leading player actively builds the racetrack while the chasing players can take shortcuts by flying off the track to overcome obstacles. But the track is needed to score and to get speed – the vehicles don't have any thrusters to accelerate while flying,” reads the official announcement.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the Steam database and by no means is it completely certain. The Steam Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries are first visible in the Steam Database before their official launch. More details about this game can be found on the official Steam website.
