The folks at Fatshark, creators of Krater indie game, are trying to revive their title with new contents offered for free.

The first free content update in a series of three updates that will be launched soon. The main feature introduced by patch 1.1 is the co-op mode.

For the time being, this is only integrated at a smaller scale as the devs want to make sure they have resources to handle all the issues or bugs that might arise when lots of players are playing it. The next free content updates are planning to expand this feature.

Aside from co-op mode, the latest update brings support for handling several profiles with different saves connected to Steam accounts cloud saves.

The engine has been upgraded for better performance and improved stability. New achievements have been added as well.
