Kramer Flips and Insults Two Black Men During Stand-Up Number

Ever since 'Seinfeld' ended, the career of Michael Richards (who played the wacky Kramer on the show) also took a huge plunge. He did not stop making comedy but neither did he make another series so popular as this one has been.

However, now Richards is again in the spotlight, but definitely not for the right reason. On Friday night, the actor was doing a number in Los Angeles at the Laugh Factory when a member of the audience got up and said 'My friends don't think you're funny'. TMZ had one of its reporters at the scene and caught the whole incident on tape and, unfortunately for Richards, the footage already made the full round on the Internet.

As the news agency reports, the man who made the remark stopped here and did not hurl any insults at the comedian. But he did touch a sore spot, judging by what ensued, as Richards suddenly went red in the face and started screaming: 'Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down and with a f**king fork up your ass. You can talk, you can talk, you're brave now motherf**ker. Throw his ass out. He's a nigger! He's a nigger! He's a nigger! A nigger, look, there's a nigger!'

As Richards was pacing to and fro on the stage, the man at whom the tirade was directed got up again and tried to calm him down, despite the awful things that were being said at his expense. 'That's un-f**king called for, ain't necessary', the man said, almost silenced completely by another listener who just didn't have his patience: 'It's not funny. That's why you're a reject, never had no shows, never had no movies. "Seinfeld", that's it'.

Seeing himself thus confronted and attacked from all sides, Richards stopped dead in the middle of something else he was saying and quickly left the stage, without any explanation. On Monday, the foul-mouthed comedian thought it was about time he made a public apology but few are those willing to listen to him.

'I lost my temper on stage. I was at a comedy club trying to do my act and I got heckled and I took it badly and went into a rage. For me to be at a comedy club and flip out and say this crap, I'm deeply, deeply sorry. I'm really busted up over this, and I'm very, very sorry to those people in the audience-the blacks, the Hispanics, the whites-everyone that was there that took the brunt of that anger and hate and rage and how it came through.', Richards said.

But the sad truth can no longer be hidden: a 'dark side' of Kramer emerged that night and, to his worst possible luck, it was all caught on tape. CLICK HERE to see it.
