Renowned Japanese optics manufacturer, Kowa has announced at Interbee 2013 six new Micro Four Thirds cinema lenses in an interview for Newsshooter. Check out the video above.

The new Cine lenses are: 8.5mm T/3.0, 12mm T/1.9, 16mm T/1.9, 25mm T/1.9, 35mm T/1.9 and 50mm T/2.1. These lenses are based on Kowa's industrial high-quality ones, sharing the same mechanical features as well as optical quality inside a modified body specially designed to fit the current MFT cameras.

For the moment, these new lenses are presented only as a concept and they will possibly suffer further modifications regarding their design. For example, the aperture ring is clicked right now, but it's likely to be changed later on.

The full specs for each lens as well as launch dates and individual prices will be announced later next year at Photokina, but the Nippon manufacturer promises that they will be affordable.
