With all the drama generated by Kim Kardashian's divorce, it's good to have some good news about the Kardashian Klan. Kourtney, Kim's sister, is pregnant with her second child by longtime beau Scott Disick.

Kourtney and Scott, whose relationship continues to polarize discussion and fascinate fans because neither seems willing to tie the knot, already have an adorable baby boy, Mason, who is almost 2.

Mase will soon become an older brother, as mommy (32) and daddy (28) have just announced they're pregnant with another child.

In a statement to E!, the network that also made the Kardashians into the most powerful family in reality television, Kourtney confirms the happy news.

“Scott and I are so excited to announce that we are expecting our second child. [We're] thrilled to be expanding the love in our family,” she says.

The thrilled parents-to-be have also issued a statement to Us, in which Kourtney says she's about 9 weeks ago but feel confident enough to share the news with the world before the 3-month threshold.

“Now I’m nine weeks along. You’re supposed to wait 12 weeks to tell people, but I feel confident,” she explains.

“It wasn’t like we weren’t trying,” Scott chimes in. “We kind of just said, ‘If it’s meant to be, it’ll be’,” he adds.

Funnily enough, the season 2 premiere of Kourtney and Kim Take New York showed Kourtney and Scott fighting bitterly, with Scott packing up and leaving NY to get away from her nagging, as we also reported at the time.

The first episode also showed Scott complain about how they sleep in separate beds because Kourtney insists on sharing the same bed as Mason, and how he'd like to be as important to her as he once was.

By the looks of things, whatever problems may have been putting a strain on her romance are now gone.
