The V7 will most likely only be available in China

I sincerely doubt that anyone has ever heard of the mobile phone manufacturer Konka up until now. There are several reasons for this, the first one being that the Chinese company mainly manufactures TVs.

Although the font used by the company is very similar to the font Nokia uses - if it's not actually the same one - this fact is not very important, because the phone Konka is presenting has nothing to do with any Nokia mobile phone out there.

Although this might not be a hundred percent correct, The V7, a 850/900/1800/1900 MHz mobile phone is said to provide a 2.4 inch 262k color touchscreen with a QVGA resolution, GPRS, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, built-in pedometer, 128MB of internal memory that can be expanded through a T-Flash memory card slot and a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus.

No, it does not come with 3G support, but it does bring a handwriting recognition software. Due to the lack of keypad, the only text input option you have is using the touchscreen, and that might prove to be inconvenient for some.

Konka's V7 measures 106mm x 50mm x 18mm and will last for 2 to 3 hours of talk time or approximately 100 hours of standby time. Judging from the way this phone looks and the features it includes, it will most likely be available in China.

Other features might be included, but right now that's all the available information. There is absolutely no information regarding availability or pricing though, so if you're interested in this phone and don't know how to find it already, it will surely be pretty tough to find.
