The company is urging all users to change their passwords

Video game publisher Konami announces that one of its sites has been the target of unauthorized log-in attempts and that attackers have managed to obtain the personal information of a number of users.

All those who have a profile on the Konami ID portal, which is used by the fans of Pro Evolution Soccer and other titles, are urged by the company to change their passwords.

The company says that 35,000 unauthorized accounts were detected among a total of 4 million.

Compromised information includes: full names, addresses, dates of birth, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.

Konami is also raising its monitoring level and is taking steps in order to make sure that no further attacks can take place.

Previously today attackers also gained access to personal information linked to the official Bohemia Interactive website.
