SNES - 'The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past' and the original Castlevania NES game

If it's two games Konami fans like, those two games are Castlevania and The Legend of Zelda. Looking for a storyline to take your breath away, swapping realities between the Hyrule lands and Transylvania? Well, Konami is making it possible this week, as for a few hundred Wii points for each game you'll be able to download the two award winning titles from Konami.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past revolves around main character Link, in medieval fantasy adventure. Link receives a telepathic cry for help from Princess Zelda, which he has to rescue. Players will soon realize that the plot is much thicker and that darker plan concern Hyrule land, for a SNES game with such intuitive gameplay and a gripping storyline, it's surely worth the 800 Wii Points.

As far as Castlevania is concerned, fans will be able to play the original NES Castlevania title from Konami on their Nintendo Wiis, for no more, no less that 500 Wii points. The game is one of the earliest to feature a horror story line. It follows a whip-wielding warrior against the evil vampire, Dracula and his aiding minions. Konami's 2D horror title is somewhat based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula," featuring a variety of other characters such as 'Death' and "Medusa." Even today, the Castlevania franchise is enjoying a great dose of popularity.

PSP fans screamed for a porting of the series onto the handheld and Konami made their day by releasing Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles with Incredible 3D reinvention of rondo of blood and two unlockable Ccastlevania classics.
