TimeGate Studios devoted their creative minds to RTS games. Their most recent title is the WW II inspired Axis & Allies, but before that, they were only concerned on growing the fantasy world of the Kohan series. Khaldun realm and its heroes, the Kohan, introduced a totally new concept, revitalizing the RTS genre. Kohan II: Kings of War retained from its predecessors the unique gameplay and added even more key elements. Ages after the adventures in Kohan, the ancient enemy (survivors of the Ceyah faction - who lost in the first game) unleashes a dark power upon the lands. Since the human forces are once again on the brink of extinction, it's up to the Kohan heroes to save the day. The recently awaken Naava Daishan and Jonas Teramun set on the path to unite the races of the land throughout the 25 missions in the single-player campaign.


The low concern on the micro-managerial aspect encountered in every RTS makes Kohan a lot more accessible for players that want to focus on strategy rather than careful resource management. All the buildings produce a positive or negative flow of various resources that are finally converted into gold. You'll use this gold (hopefully careful not to overspend) to raise powerful companies and bring down your enemies. The races available for playing include human, haroun, drauga, gauri, undead and shadow.
