The price really is kind of insane, but in the best possible way

For those who think that title somehow got the numbers wrong, let us avail you of those fears. UK company Kogan really is selling 10-inch tablets for just £119 / $185 / 151 Euro.

That's right, even not taking into account that the US and EU prices would be lower than what exchange rates suggest, the tablet is cheaper than Amazon's 7-inch Kindle Fire.

The catch? Weaker hardware, obviously, but we have to mention that the slate still supports web browsing and 1080p video playback just fine.

The only real drawbacks are the storage capacity (8 GB) and the processor (1GHz ARM7 single-core).

The rest is quite impressive. Kogan's Agora 10-inch Tablet comes with a 4:3 IPS LCD (1,024 x 768 pixels), capacitive touch support, an HDMI output, an 8,000mAh battery and the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Orders can be placed on the official website, and it bears noting that the 8GB model is not alone. A 16GB tablet is up for sale as well, at £129 / $201 / 163 Euro.
