Kodak has announced the launching of three new models of digital cameras in July-August this year.
Having bodies similar to the previous models, C300 and C340, the prices for the new cameras will range between 179 and 279 dollars.
Among the three models, the top one is KodakEasyShare C360, with a resolution of 5 megapixel, Kodak Retinar 3x lens system and a 2 inch LCD; this camera offers
17 preset modes. The 32MB of internal memory can also be used to store 24fps movies, but a supplementary SD card is recommended.
Kodak C330 has the same lens system as the C360, but only 4 megapixel resolution and 14 preset modes. The LCD was shrunk down to 1.5 inch, and the internal memory is only 16MB now. Just as C360, the camera can be acquired along with the Kodak Printer Dock Series 3.
The last model from Kodak, C310 is somewhere in the middle of the previous two, C300 and C330, having a fixed focal distance of 35 mm and an aperture of f/4.5 and a 5X digital zoom like the C300, but it offers 4 megapixels just like the C330.
Kodak C310 offers less preset modes and has only a 1.6 inch LCD.
Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock Series 3 is a photo printer which supports the Imagelink printing system, and is compatible with all EasyShare cameras, but also with other cameras supporting Imagelink. Printer Dock Series prints 4x6 inch images in less than 90 seconds.
Since the introduction of this model in 2003, Kodak has sold over 2 million units.
