As mentioned before, Kodak's lineup for CES 2011 proves to be quite serious, the company rolling out, beside the three compact digital cameras we've talked about earlier, two new digital video cameras, the KODAK PLAYFULL and KODAK PLAYSPORT.

As the company informs us, the KODAK PLAYFULL Video Camera is packed full of features in an ultra slim and chic design, while the KODAK PLAYSPORT Video Camera is shockproof, dustproof and waterproof up to 10 feet.

Both video cameras feature Kodak's exclusive Share Button making it easy for you to share your videos and pictures via various social networking sites in three simple steps.

The KODAK PLAYFULL Video Camera features full 1080p HD video and 5 MP HD still recording capabilities, as well as built-in software and USB arm for automatic sharing, in-camera charging and easy transfer to computer, while the in-camera editing lets users trim and extract still pictures from video.

The camera also provide four fun capture effects including black and white, sepia, high saturation and 70's film look, a built-in digital image stabilization for sharper videos and less blur, as well as smart face tracking technology.

Additional features worth mentioning include the LCD Glare Shield feature to help users see the screen in very bright sunlight and an expandable SD/SDHC card slot up to 32 GB.

The KODAK PLAYSPORT, on the other hand, beside providing a higher level of resilience, also packs full 1080p HD video and 5 MP HD still recording with auto-focus, an underwater white balance mode.

The camcorder comes equipped with a 2-inch LCD adjusts to lighting conditions, as well as most of the in-camera editing technologies also provided by the PLAYFULL model.

The KODAK PLAYFULL Video Camera will be available in silver, blue-silver, purple-silver and blue-black for U.S. $149.95 in spring 2011, while the Kodak PLAYSPORT Video Camera will be available in black, red, green, white and aqua for U.S. $179.95, also scheduled to arrive at some point this Spring.
